The Scene look is all about the hair and makeup for the most part. Although the clothes are important, sometimes when wearing a uniform for school or work these cannot be seen so the hair and makeup is what gives it away. Perfecting the Scene look is easy when you know how and luckily, we are going to tell you!
First of all, Scene girls usually wear their hair either as black as they can go or bright bleached blonde. However, there is no need to go this extreme and even very dark brown or a rich plum color can recreate the look just as well. The hair is also worn in a mullet type style with the hair long and choppy with randomly cut blunt layers thrown in for good measure. This look is easily achieved by yourself at home or at a hairdresser dependant on how brave you are!
If you are not quite so brave as to cut in some random and blunt layers then why not wear your hair up with a few choppy ends of hair kept down for a unique and spunky look that is almost Scene by itself? You could always go for short hair if you are looking for a real change and this looks perfect when there is a set of long bangs that covers one eye, a look that is there in many Scene style cuts.
