Caring For Scene Hair
Caring For Scene Hair
Scene hair is quite eccentric. Some scene kids prefer their hair to be bright and fluffy while others prefer a sleek, low-maintenance look. However, hair goes through a lot of wear and tear—if you’re styling it every single day, you’re going to need to give it a rest every one in a while. So here are a few tips for caring for scene hair:

Scene girls have some of the fiercest hairstyles around. However, getting your hair cut the way that you would like can be a bit confusing. So how exactly DO you get it cut so that you can style it they way you would like?
First of all, we all know the infamous scene poof. Some people love it, some hate it, but it is a popular scene hairstyle. What you need to know is that it is all in the haircut.
You hair can be as long or as short as you would like. However, the very top layers should be very, very short in contrast. For example, if you have hair to a third way down your back, you can have the top, shortest layers (the layers that will be teased up to your poof) as short as the nape of your neck, or maybe to your shoulders.
Next comes the actually teasing part. You will have to backcomb—if your hair is really damaged or thin and can’t take it, you can use combs underneath or find an alternative if you wish. Take the underside of your shortest layers and comb backwards until you get the desired height on your poof.
Now, this next part is fairly important: If you have seen scene kids, you’ve always seen those one or two girls who for whatever reason have absolutely ridiculous poofs and you can see the backcombing underneath. It is fairly likely that when you see this, you simply don’t want to see more. It looks dirty and kind of gross. This is why when backcombing, you need to gently comb the poof on top to create a seamless poof, rather than one with visible backcombing.
Keep in mind that the rest of the hair is usually straightened or even wavy, if you prefer. Bangs are normally sideswept in scene hairstyles. If these instructions are giving you any trouble, it is recommended that you watch a few videos until you get the hang of styling your hair.
